Saturday was a busy day for the Wells family, but definitely lots of fun with lots of great friends! We started the day with a baby shower for Julia and Baby Scott. It was so great to see Riley and Julia! We don't get to see them very often since they live half way across the country in Baltimore. It was also fun to see Melissa, Craig and Harrison at the shower. It will be fun to watch Allie and Harrison play together when Allie can walk and get around a little faster. At one point Harrison took Allie's hand and pulled her across the room not realizing that she can't walk or even move quite as fast as he can. Luckily Melissa came to Allie's rescue and helped her keep up with Harrison. By the end she was hopping trying to catch up. They gave each other several hugs and kisses which was very cute.
While we were at the shower we found out that Michelle and Tony's baby girl Abby Marie Hager had made her grand entrance into the world at 4:20am. She weighed 7lbs 8oz. We went to the hospital Saturday afternoon to meet the newest Hager girl. When we arrived Mya was holding Baby Abby with her Daddy's help. It was the sweetest thing. It made me think about how great it will be some day to see Allie as a big sister. As I held Abby it seemed unbelievable that Allie was ever that tiny. She has grown up so much and learned so many new things in the last 10 months. I am so proud of her. Anyway, the Hager family is doing well. They will be going home with 3 girls sometime today. I didn't get any pictures because I left the camera in the car, but I'm sure we will see them again soon. So, stay tuned for pictures of Baby Abby.
We ended the day with a celebration of Linny and Jeremy's engagement and purchase of their first house! It was lots of fun! They had lots of great food and Josh beat me at washers, but he had an advantage because I was holding Allie. We had to leave before we really wanted to, but it was way past Allie's bed time.
