At the Zoo

Today we went to the zoo to celebrate Josh's birthday. It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun. We got to see the zoo keeper chat with the baby river otters. They were fed live fish, so it was fun to watch them chase the fish...sad for the fish though. We also got to see the baby giraffe that was born in June. He is really cute. And of course we spent some time watching the tigers. They are probably our favorite. It's so amazing to be able to get so close to a tiger. Allie is saying "dog" now. She uses it to refer to Daisy and her stuffed animal that is a dog. At the zoo though, she pointed at every animal and said "dog." Josh and I corrected her, but she just kept saying "dog, dog, dog, dog..." I guess at least she recognizes that there are animals at the zoo now.
