Josh took me on the field for the K-State game against UMass. We had so much fun! It was so nice to enjoy the game and not have to waddle around and make trips back and forth to the bathroom every quarter as I did at the last game we attended when I was 8 months pregnant. Being on the field was awesome! I could not believe how big some of the football players are when you are standing next to them. This may seem dorky, but I really enjoyed watching the athletic trainers work with the players...especially when Carson Coffman got hurt in the 4th quarter. They tested his ACL on the field which apparently was normal. It was too far away for me to see. Then they did a lot of calf stretching and massage during the drive when Grant Gregory played. Carson was able to go back in on the next drive. I also got to see Lyndsay, Melissa, Craig and Harrison. It was great to talk with them...almost like old times in Manhattan. I miss it so much, but wouldn't trade my life now with Josh and Allie for anything. We also got to eat pizza at Gumby's which is the best pizza ever! Knolla's Pizza in Wichita is close, but definitely not as good. Here are video highlights of what I was able to take from the field, but first I have to thank my wonderful husband for several things...
A. For buying me the Flip camera for my birthday which allowed me to take this video. I love it and have had so much fun documenting our memories with it.
B. For taking me on the field with you. I have never been down there for a whole game and it was lots of fun!
C. For putting up with me and allowing me to do what I do...playing the many roles I play...Wife, Mommy, Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter, Niece, Cousin, Friend, Physical Therapist. It's more than I can handle and you always pick up the slack. What would I do without you?
