Although this is technically Allie's second Halloween, it was her first Trick-or-Treating experience. Last year we stayed home and handed out candy to all the kids because Allie was only one month old. She really liked the idea of people giving her candy. She just couldn't figure out how to open the candy which was a good thing for Mommy and Daddy because she may have eaten it all! We didn't have tons of time to Trick-or-Treat because we had to get home to watch K-State vs. OU and the World Series game. But, that was ok because Allie was getting really hot in her puppy dog costum since it was almost 70 degrees outside.

Allie's pumpkin shirt...it's way too big, but maybe she can wear it next year.
Allie is becoming a very smart girl. She is communicating more and more every day and I love it! I am amazed at how much she understands now. When I was taking this picture I said "Allie, I love the pretty orange pumpkin on your shirt!" She pulled her shirt out so she could see it and pointed at it. Little things...I know, but I love it!

Our precious puppy dog...We decided to dress her as a dog for Halloween because it was her first word. I had to put ribbons on her ears though so everyone would know she was a girl.

Carrying around Grandma's keys
"Stop taking pictures everyone...Let's go get some candy!"

Riding in her wagon to go Trick-or-Treating and trying to figure out how in the world to open a Butterfinger. She was very patient and calm as she tried to open it. Usually when she can't figure something out she gets very mad and frustrated.

Walking up to a house, but she would not let go of her Butterfinger.

"Look! I got more candy!"

Our family after Trick-or-Treating. Allie would not smile for the camera. She just wanted her candy.

Allie is playing with both Grandmas and getting very spoiled while the boys watched the game downstairs.
