Busy Busy Saturday

This weekend was a busy one. On Saturday I ran the St. Patrick's Day 5K along the river. It was cold, and I could barely breathe because I have been really congested, but I made it! I raced home to shower and get Allie ready for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. It was our first parade of the campaign since Josh started working for Mike Pompeo. It was cold, but we had tons of fun walking and handing out candy and green St. Patrick's Day beads. Allie will be a pro at waving her flag in parades by November! There are a lot more parades to come.

Then we headed off to Topeka to cheer on the Lady Jags in the 5A State Championship. They went undefeated and won State! We are so proud of them. What an accomplishment! Allie didn't have a nap so she was a little miserable, but we made lots of laps around the Expocentre and went up and down the stairs a lot to keep her busy. We were all exhausted when we got home, but we had a great day!

The only picture I had a chance to take at the game. She is trying to grab the camera from me.

Allie's first pedicure! It is really hard to paint moving toddler toes, but I think it turned out pretty well.
