Crash!

So as I mentioned in my last post my parents were in a car accident on May 4th. They were traveling to Osage Hills State Park near Bartlesville, OK when an oncoming car somehow T-boned the drivers side of their car. Mom is fine...just walked away with some bruises. Dad was released from the ER in Bartlesville with 2 broken ribs. However, we found out later after he had developed pneumonia and was admitted to the hospital here in Wichita that he actually had 7 or 8 fractured ribs along with a left scapula fracture. He spent 3 days in the hospital for breathing treatments and pain control. He is doing much better now. He is walking without a walker and spending more time off his oxygen. I am so thankful that God was watching out for my mom and dad. Allie has been a little concerned about her Grandpa. She frequently says, "I wanna see Papa" and in the beginning she didn't understand why he was sleeping all the time and wouldn't get up and play with her like usual. But, now he is moving around a lot better and was able to pick her up and hold her today. She loved that!
